The School Library Commons is a vibrant, whole-school approach, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration among faculty and students with the Library Media Specialist. Within a Library Commons, new relationships are formed between learners, new technologies are realized and utilized, and both students and educators prepare for the future as they learn new ways to learn.
The physical environment supports social learning and promotes collaborative work. Wireless technology, movable furniture, various learning areas, and current print and non-print resources makes the space flexible for the different needs of students, encouraging creativity, discovery, and inspiration.
